Mr. Diego GarcÃa-Sayán presented his initiative to supplement the content of the United Nations Basic Principles on the Independence of the Judiciary.
The thematic discussion of the 28th Session was on the subject of “The responsibility of effective, fair, humane and accountable criminal justice systems in preventing and countering crime motivated by intolerance or discrimination of any kind”.
