Diego García-Sayán

He was appointed Special Rapporteur on the independence of judges and lawyers in December 2016. He served as judge of the Inter-American Court of Human Rights for two consecutive terms (2008-2013). In Peru, he served as Minister of Justice and as Minister of Foreign Affairs.
