For a period of one year, it is planned to strengthen the cooperation within individual activities of the regional KAS Rule of Law Programmes. The memorandum was signed as the Rule of Law Programmes and has chosen “Judicial Independence” as their main topic in 2018.
The regional conferences and the final global conference will benefit from Diego Garcia-Sayan’s expert knowledge.
The Rule of Law Programme South East-Europe of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation intends to organize an event in Bucharest in late October 2018, and Diego Garcia-Sayan, as Special Rapporteur at the United Nations, is invited to speak as an expert at this event in Romania on judicial independence.
