Article 87. […] 2. The Director of Public Prosecutions shall be appointed by the Governor-General, acting in accordance with the advice of the Judicial and Legal Services Commission. Article 103. Appointment etc. of magistrates, registrars and legal officers 1. This section applies to the offices of magistrates and registrars of the High Court and assistant registrars of the High Court and to any public office in the department of the Attorney-General (other than the public office of Attorney-General) and the department of the Director of Public Prosecutions (other than the office of Director) for appointment to which persons are required to be qualified to practice as a barrister or solicitor in Antigua and Barbuda and such other offices connected with the Court as Parliament may prescribe.

Article 82. 1. There shall be an Attorney-General of Antigua and Barbuda who shall be the principal legal adviser to the Government and who shall be appointed by the Governor-General.
